External enclosures are great devices; they allow you to connect your IDE devices to your computer externally via USB or firewire this allows your hard drive to be easily portable and simple to install. However, do you know which external enclosure is the best? In this review, we will take a look at just one of the many external enclosures on offer;
the ME-740U2.

Features:
∙ High Performance
∙ Plug N Play Anywhere
∙ Super-Compact Size
∙ Stackable
∙ Stylish Design

Whether you have a Macintosh or PC this enclosure is compatible with either platform. Due to this device running on USB, it is a plug and play hot-swappable connection (meaning you don’t have to shut down your computer and connect your devices). The device can support up to 300GB hard drives, so pretty much any 3.5” IDE hard drive on the market is compatible with this Bytecc enclosure. Measuring in at 198 x 125 x 33mm this product is super compact so it shouldn’t take up a large amount of room on your desk. Since external enclosures are on view, it is important that they are stylish and appealing to look at rather then an eyesore.
