Eumax PS/2 to USB Adapter

Whether your computer lacks PS/2 ports or you are experiencing some troubles with your integrated PS/2 connectors we have a cure in sight, a PS/2 to USB Adapter. This adapter allows you to hook up a PS/2 based mouse, keyboard, and allow it to run off a USB port.

Installation:

This is a very simple product so we will move right on with the installation. Installation is easy, just plug your PS/2 mouse, and keyboard into the proper color-coded connector on the adapter. Next, plug the USB part of the adapter into an open USB port. This device is compatible with Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP. Installation is simple and can be done in a matter of seconds.

Performance:

We plugged in a variety of keyboards such as the Black EL Keyboard, Ideazon Zboard, and a Logitech Elite Keyboard. In addition, we hooked up a Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0A and then two older Logitech optical mice. No matter what keyboard or mouse we hooked up, the adapter did its job and allowed us to operate our PS/2 devices through a USB port.

Conclusion:

This is a very simple device; it simply converts PS/2 to USB. For whatever the reason may be, if you need to hook up PS/2 devices and only have an open USB port, we would recommend this product. The Eumax PS/2 to USB adapter only costs about $7.95 and can be found at Iocombo.

Pros:

∙ Does its job of converting PS/2 to USB
∙ Doesn’t require an external power supply
∙ Dual PS/2 ports
∙ Supports KVM switch
∙ Easy Installation

Cons:

∙ No problems
