Introduction:
Finally, it's here, Americas Army Special Forces! Americas Army Special Forces (AASF) is a new version of the popular freeware game known as Americas Army: Operations. This new version includes maps, weapons, objectives, and features which have previously never been seen on Americas Army: Operations. The objective is to earn a Green Beret status by completing training missions drawn from the Special Forces Assignment and Selection Processor. Players who complete this process have the opportunity to take an elite Special Forces role in multiplayer missions.

Features:
AASF features six new maps, a variety of new weapons, and most importantly, an authentic U.S. army experience. Players can now play a variety of different roles including Special Forces weapons sergeant, indigenous forces, combat medic, squad leader, fire team leader, grenadier, rifleman, automatic rifleman, and advanced marksman:

Special Forces Weapons Sergeant: experiences new, highly specialized weaponry including a modified version of the M4A1.

Indigenous Forces: Also a brand new class of players that assist and work along side the Special Forces in combat situations. Their primary choices of weapons are the AKS-74U Rifle and RPG-7.

Combat Medics: Carries a M16A2 rifle and have very important roles in AASF as they are the required to heal the wounded on the battlefield.

Squad Leader: Commands the team in combat situations in order to achieve victory. The squad leader is responsible for the success or failure of the team.

Fire Team Leader: One step down from squad leader, his role is to command a smaller team of players on the battlefield.

The Grenadier: Have one of the most important roles in the fire team; they have the abilities to fire grenades large distances to eliminate the enemy threat before the rest of the team encounters it.

The Rifleman: Makes up a large portion of the infantry squad with their role being to create cover fire and to eliminate the enemies while attempting to execute their objectives.

Automatic Rifleman: Provides the fire team with significant volumes of suppressive fire with a belt-fed machine gun.

The Advanced Marksman: Operates long-range precision rifles like the M24 and M82 to eliminate the targets from great distances.

In order to even qualify for the Special Forces class, you must have an honor level of at least 15 and have successfully completed all basic training and airborne school missions. After that, you will need to complete the two SF training missions. Once these missions have been completed, you will then be able to play as a Special Forces weapons sergeant. In order to become a green beret (the most elite role), you must complete all four of the Special Forces maps online.
