The second installment of the award winning age of empires by Microsoft has become a loved classic by all ages.

The Aim of the Game:

Rome has fallen and the world is up for grabs. You have to control a civilization through 1000 years. But in the missions you relive the past doing major missions. Examples of these are missions with Joan of arc, William Wallace, Genghis Kahn, Saladin and Barbarossa.

There are many different modes you can play on this game. There is multiplayer with the computer, missions, Internet multiplayer, and a tutorial. In the tutorial you have to try and lead William Wallace to victory over the English.

Multiplayer:

This is the main type of game play on Age of Empires 2. In this mode there are 13 different civilizations you can be and each has its own unique unit. They are the Britons (unique unit= longbow man), Byzantines (unique unit= cataphract), Celts (unique unit= woad raider), Chinese (unique unit= Chu ko nu), franks (unique unit= throwing axe man), Goths (unique unit= huskarl) and Japanese (unique unit= samurai). There is also the Mongols (unique unit= mangudai), Persians (unique unit= war elephant), Saracens (unique unit= Mameluke), teutons (unique unit= Teutonic knight), Turks (unique unit= janissary) and the Vikings (unique unit= longboat and berserk).
