Q-Pad Gamer XXXL

Let me say first up that this is THE best mouse pad that I have ever used. Nothing that I have used compares to it and I mean nothing. Now let's have a more in-depth look at this product.

First of all Q-Pad are offering the ability to have your own design printed on the mouse pad. This is a service that allows the end-user to have a mouse pad that looks exactly how they want it to look but still has unparalleled performance. I have received the standard design from Q-Pad. This design looks extremely cool especially with the planet-like centre.

The Gamer XXXL grips the desk extremely effectively with its 100% natural rubber backing and it took quite a bit of effort to slide it along my desk. The pad is a little over 3mm thick, which did not pose any problems to me but some may find it a bit too thick as it adds that extra height to the desk.

The Q-Pad uses a textile surface that has been designed especially for gamers. Christer Körnbäck, the designer of this mouse pad, had a stroke of genius when designing the Gamer XXXL. The surface is very smooth and friction is minimal. With just a flick, I can send my MX500 flying across from one side of the mouse pad to the other and that is no small feat as this mouse pad is very large. (Refer to the pics comparing the mouse pad to a Logitech MX500).

One issue that I had with the Gamer XXXL was that the edges started fraying a bit after about a weeks worth of use. This is unfortunate but not hugely detrimental as the minor fraying does not go past the edges. However, I would not attempt to pull the loose threads out.

What more is there to say about this mouse pad? All that is left to say is to go out and buy one of them. Contact christer@qpad.se for pricing information.
