Akasa, not a commonly known company, but all that should change if they continue releasing products like the one we look at in this review. We test Akasa's AK-174CB-4BLB, which is a large blue 120mm LED fan.
Tech Specs:
Dimensions: 120mmx120mmx25mm
Bearing: 2 Ball
Speed: 1700RPM
Voltage: 12VDC
Current: 1.18A
Airflow: 56 CFM
Noise Level: 29.74dB(A)
Connector: 4 Pin Molex

In the above image, you see a yellow strip with the word "Akasa" wrapped around the fan. This contains the led's and the circuitry that supply the led's with power.
Performance:
We put the fan to the test by comparing it with the Antec 120mm blue LED fan. We put the Akasa LED fan standing up blowing air into the case onto the motherboard (near the Southbridge ) and recorded the motherboard temperature before the fan was switched on and after. The same procedure was then carried out using the Antec fan.

The results show that both fans are closely matched in terms of cooling power, with the Antec fan very slightly in the lead, however the Antec fan produced a noticeable amount of noise, which was not apparent with the Akasa fan.

Conclusion:
120mm LED fans are a great solution to any modder's case, whether you want them for appearance or actually for cooling. We recommend the Aksa's AK-174CB-4BLB to anyone who wants to improve their case appearance and at the same time improve air circulation. Thanks Akasa for their wonderful product.
